Dota 2 prediction: Aurora Gaming vs Team Liquid

This feels like a very dangerous spot to underrate Team Liquid.

Aurora have definitely improved a lot this season and fully deserve respect after several strong tournament runs, especially at DreamLeague Season 28 and PGL Wallachia. When they find momentum, they can compete with almost anyone.

But Team Liquid still feel like the more complete and experienced team in these high-level matches.

One thing Liquid continue to do extremely well is adapting during long series. Their drafting flexibility and overall teamwork usually become more valuable as tournaments progress, and they’ve consistently shown they can handle pressure better than most teams in the scene.

Even though Aurora recently beat Liquid 2-0 at DreamLeague Season 28, the overall head-to-head is still very close and Liquid have traditionally responded well after losses against top opponents.

The addition of Ace and tOfu has also given Team Liquid much better balance this season. When players like Nisha and miCKe get comfortable in the mid game, Liquid become one of the hardest teams in Dota to control.

Aurora still sometimes struggle in the biggest playoff moments, especially deeper into tournaments, while Liquid’s core has years of Tier-1 experience in pressure situations.

Bookmakers slightly favor Aurora, but honestly the value feels on the other side here.
