Shamrock Rovers Can Make Tallaght Advantage Count

Shamrock Rovers have already produced two convincing European home performances this summer, beating Floriana 5–1 before defeating Ararat-Armenia 2–1. Although the latter victory was not enough to overturn the aggregate deficit, Rovers created plenty of opportunities and showed that they are considerably stronger at Tallaght.

Egnatia should not be underestimated. The Albanian champions beat Petroclub 7–2 on aggregate and scored five times across their two matches against Celje before being eliminated on penalties. Their attacking quality means this is unlikely to be straightforward, but it may also leave space for Rovers to exploit at home.

The market has Shamrock Rovers priced at approximately 1.90–2.03, which looks reasonable given their home advantage and European experience. The OLBG voting is currently almost evenly divided, so this is not a certainty, but the hosts appear to offer the strongest selection.
